What is exciting about 19 weeks? Absolutely nothing! Besides the fact I made it another week and morning sickness is long gone…I hope. Every time someone asks me how I’m feeling I keep saying “better” because every day has been better than the day before. I’m so glad first trimester is over because that was literally the worst.
Every morning I’ve been taking a few minutes to myself to meditate and start my day off on a positive note. Then I water all our vegetables and the flowers in the front yard. I’m so glad we live in a peaceful neighborhood with super kind neighbors. It really does have an effect on how you live.
[line] Symptoms [line]
My weird dreams are still in full speed. I actually woke up deeply upset because of one particular dream. (Steve didn’t account for the time change and we missed our flight and I was uberly pissed.) Or I’ve woken up completely puzzled and confused. (I was getting dressed for school and I didn’t know if I was supposed to swear my sweater vest or not.) I have even had some dreams about going to the hospital, packing a bag for delivery, and being in labor! (I’m obviously really anxious!!) I should really keep a diary for all my weird dreams because I have so much more that are completely wack.
[line] Cravings [line]
I’m still picky about food but my appetite is back on track. Lately I’ve been craving McDonald’s chicken nuggets and french fries. I think I’m leaning on the salty side compared to the sweet side. I still love all my favorite sweets (such as donuts) but I think Mexipino responds to all the chips and french fries I’ve been consuming. I especially think Mexipino loves salt and vinegar chips!
I’ve actually thought about tackling the Whole 30 again, but since I’m so picky at this point I’m concerned I will fall off the band wagon. Especially since my cravings (whether they are known or new) take over my will and I never recover! I’m literally surrounded by people who are healthy and fit and I’m like BABY WANTS A DONUT.
[line] WHAT I’m Feeling [line]
Mexipino is definitely moving. I thought it was gas bubbles before but I TRULY believe it’s Mexipino making small movements! I’ve even felt him/her move if I place my hand in the right spot! It doesn’t feel like flutters to me but small flicks to my abdomen! I think of small karate chops. HI-YAAAAA!
[line] What I’m looking forward to [line]
I honestly cannot wait for Christmas. Mostly because Mexipino will be here during my favorite season! We won’t be traveling and I’m so glad to spend our first Christmas in our house as a family of four. (PLUS, I can’t wait to order Mexipino’s Christmas stocking!)

I’m feeling more energized enough to start exercising again! By recommendation of my doctor, I shouldn’t get back into [solidcore] at this time. I was thinking about doing 21 Day Fix or something similar. What are some exercise programs you pregnant mamas recommend?
Plus, maternity photos? Have you guys done that? I’m trying to plan out the next few months!
