Mexipino officially has a name for either gender and NO, we are NOT sharing.
I’ve also decided if someone names their baby the same name, we’re not going to change the name. They don’t own the name, plus my hubby and I thought long and hard about these names and they mean something to us.
I’ve been going back and forth about how I want the nursery to be designed, the problem is getting my hubby on the same track. I’d like to think I am Joanna and he is Chip. Just do what I say and say “Yes, dear.”
Everyone comments about how hard it must be to not know the gender, for preparation purposes. Yes. It is hard. It’s difficult to put certain things on the registry, so I’ve been picking gender neutral colors. I don’t have crib sheets or curtains on there, those will just have to wait until Mexipino arrives! EVERYONE has been suggesting green for the nursery and I just want to explode when anyone suggests that. I just don’t like green for a baby. Yes, I already have colors picked out for the nursery and it will be revealed on the blog in the future!

Lower back pain is most noticeable while I am sitting up for a while. I need a pillow for support.
I’ve actually just started a lot of aches and pains all over.
I believe the bump has stage freight. When my best friends came to visit, he/she barely moved for them to feel his/her movements. When they left, he/she was a karate chopping machine!
I started a part time job to support Mexipino’s future shopping sprees/sports uniforms/activities/school tuition/ etc… In the mean time, mama will just have to shop for the both of us!
The bump even met our friends at our local bank! We love our personal our bankers are. We don’t see them often but every time we do see them, they remember what we do for a living, our house, WHY I’m there (hahaha) etc. This past time, I walked in and one of them said, “your husband called this morning, said you were coming in!” It sucks that its a bit of a drive, but we love their service!
Mama is still craving green grapes. I haven’t craved steak in a while. But I still CRAVE a nice, cold beer. Wine is nice, but something about that crisp, cream ale taste. What is sad is that pumpkin beer is coming out and I just don’t know how I’m going to handle that…at least I could have decaf PSL…
One person thinks I’m having a girl, everyone else thinks boy! This is so exciting, I’m so glad we are choosing not to find out!
I’m also at that point where people are scared to ask me if I’m pregnant. One man said, “I may get in trouble, are you expecting? Because you look normal but your tummy says otherwise!” I cracked up! I told him I was expecting and that he was NOT THE ONLY ONE afraid to ask!
The bump is in good company at mom’s work, because there are 3 co-workers pregnant all due after mama! Something is literally in the water!
I started playing Amazing Grace on my phone and Mexipino was dancing along. Maybe I’ll have a dancer in the future!
I also love dressing my bump now a days, as evidence by the many selfie pictures to follow!
