Everyone wonders how I can hold out so long not knowing Mexipino’s gender! Honestly, I have no idea how I’m doing it either. But I think it will be one of the most wonderful surprises! It is truly one of the most organic moments I think I will ever experience, and watching it happen multiple times as an L&D nurse has always motivated me to not find out as well. (Read more about my why in this blog post!) I’ve always known that I never wanted to know the gender and knowing if Mexipino is a he or she wouldn’t change how I feel. I will love him/her just the same!
One of the fun things I love hearing from people is their opinions, especially old wives tales! So, I decided to do some experimenting and see if if these myths will be true or not!
I’ve always had a feeling Mexipino is a boy, based on my early cravings and behaviors. Lately, I’m convinced Mexipino is a girl! So it is definitely a toss up. Steve still thinks boy.
One thing is for sure, we can’t wait to find out!

There we have it: Girl 8 vs. Boy 4. Even some family members are taking back their boy guesses and changing it to girl (before I wrote this post.) One of my cousins did her own test (necklace dipped between my thumb and pointer finger) which revealed boy and that I will have a second boy afterwards!
So will the wives win or will my own intuition prevail? Only one way to find out and I can’t wait to share that news with you!
