I had to bundle week 35 and 36 together! Exhaustion is in full effect as well as nesting!
At my last appointment, my OB was concerned about the amount of weight I gained. I’m blaming it on all the Halloween candy and food I ate at my baby shower the weekend before. I know what she’s concerned about…pre-eclampsia. The only symptom I’m showing is edema; however, my blood pressure and urine samples have been clear. So hopefully it is a fluke. But I couldn’t help but cry after my appointment. I’m just hoping I’m nearing the end of my pregnancy and Mexipino is trying to get into the final position before labor kicks in.
Christmas is just around the corner and every time I hear a Christmas song I start crying, because I think about how I get to share my favorite holiday with my baby.

Increasing pressure every day! I was literally clenching everything walking around Target.
Now I know what it feels like when women say “they just peed themselves.”
My middle finger joints are so swollen. Pregnancy induced carpal tunnel is a real thing. Sometimes its hard to do simple things like clip my bra, grip, or write.
I thought I would buy myself a new jacket to accommodate my growing bump. Instead, my hubby’s jackets fit just fine!
Apparently, pregnancy brain is real, too! I can’t tell you how many times at work I was asked to do something and completely blanked. I don’t want to blame my pregnancy because I still want to be better.
My feet are a new size! I don’t know if it will stay that way, but I’ve had to buy new shoes for work plus compression socks! Pre-pregnancy I was 6.5-7, now I can fit anywhere between an 8 and a 10. So weird.
Sleeping/getting comfortable has been a challenge.
My hospital bag is just about finished!
I set up the pack’n’play and carseat! I need to be prepared!
My mom is out of the country for a few weeks, so I’m praying Mexipino will wait for my mom. I can’t imagine my mother not being here for this.
Considering my new size, I haven’t been crazy about posting new bump pictures. Love my bump, not the rest of my bulging body.
The nursery is almost complete. I’ve laundered all the onesies/socks/hats/blankets etc. All the nursery needs is a few more decorations. However it is been hard walking around and piling things into my cart without my hubby.
