You know what I love? Affordable stylish fashion. I believe you can wear a dress and wear it often. I can’t justify buying a piece of clothing that I will only wear once or twice. Especially if it costs an arm and a leg. That’s why I will search for the most basic item that I can dress up or down with accessories. But I’ll live on the edge with a few animal prints here and there. With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner, holiday outfits is on everyone’s mind…
I hate the fact when bloggers post a piece of clothing they wear that I like and find out it costs $$$. No, I can’t afford that. So I made a holiday outfit inspiration…all from Walmart. Because being stylish shouldn’t be for the rich. It’s for all.
How to Accessorize Simple Clothing
The key with accessorizing is using what your already have at home!
Use bold jewelry with a solid colored dress or top.
Wear pumps with skinny jeans. Choose booties to dress down.
Put your hair into a bun if you’re wearing a sweater.
Ever thought about wearing a bold lip color? Holiday season is the best time to live on the edge!
Invest in a good pair of faux leather leggings. Pumps or slides will compliment really well!
Throw on a knot headband to match with a simple dressy top.
Simple Holiday Inspired Outfits
When I shop, I always think…could I wear this again? Mama raised a frugal shopper, so I don’t just throw money around. (However my husband thinks differently when I’m at Target. Sorry not sorry.) But when it comes to clothes, I like to think they will spend a long time in my closet. I worked hard for my money. Like Carrie Bradshaw said, I like to see my money right where I can see it, hanging in my closet.
