Why do Mondays seem to creep up on us? Thankfully, it’s Monday Mocktail so we can celebrate that! Safe to drink at the office, not safe for wild animals.
For this week’s mocktail, I used whatever I had in my pantry and refrigerator. Do you ever have that talk “you have food at home, you don’t need to stop by McDonald’s” talk? I do all the time. This time, I decided to contain myself to my kitchen. I had Orange LaCroix left over from my Whole 30 stint that I decided would have to compliment the pineapple juice that I utilized from last week’s mocktail (see here.) With ice from my freezer and a banana, it has to taste somewhat good! Fingers crossed!

It’s definitely light and refreshing! The orange and pineapple compliment well and the banana adds a smooth consistency. I wouldn’t say it’s one of my favorites but I am proud of myself playing bartender. One of the things I’ve learned being pregnant is that I have to be creative. Whether it’s cooking, shopping, or budgeting. I guess it’s part of becoming an adult. Whoomp whoomp.
I’m sure I’ll be using more Orange LaCroix to make more mocktails!
