It’s Monday but that means Friday is almost here!
Welcome to my new weekly posts featuring mocktails! Pregnancy friendly and just as delicious! One of the down falls of being pregnant is obviously not being able to enjoy a nice glass of wine or my ultimate favorite…mimosa! But luckily, there are ways to enjoy our drinks just by tweaking them!
I realized that alcohol can be easily replaced by something non alcoholic! Sprite, Fresca, Ginger Ale, Tonic Water or Sparkling Water are perfect replacements. Being pregnant I’ve learned to become super creative, whether it be in the kitchen as a cook or as a bartender!
[pullquote width=”700″ float=”left”] You can’t let pregnancy be a crutch, it’s a super power. [/pullquote]
Lavender Mint Mojito is a concoction of mine that I created with the inspiration of two mamas! One friend introduced me to a strawberry mojito made by one of her friends and another friend introduced me to a dry lavender sparkling soda. I meshed the two ideas together and the lavender mint mojito was born.
What I love about this drink is the hint of lavender in every sip and ends with a refreshing breath. Be careful of how much mint leaves you add, because that can overpower the lavender.
You can easily find the Dry Lavender Soda at your local grocery store in the sparkling water section. My friend found it at Target so I was surprised when I found it at my local Kroger!

Lavender Mint Mojito
Ingredients:
- 2 parts Dry Lavender Soda
- 1 part Mojito Mix
- A few mint leaves
- Lime slices
- A cup of ice
I filled my cup 1 quarter way of the mojito mix and filled close to the rim of the Dry Lavender. I believe there really isn’t a right or wrong way to mix a mocktail. Just do what you think is best for your taste buds. You do you, mama.
First, muddle your mint leaves at the bottom of your glass. Fill with ice cubes and lime slices and then add your desired amount of mojito mix and Dry Lavender. Voila!
